Production Manager - (Salt Lake City, UT)

WesTech Engineering has an immediate need for a Production Manager. This position is responsible to coordinate internal and external resources necessary to produce clarifier and thickener power transmission systems to meet project completion schedules. 1st-level supervisory responsibility for 2-3 employees in the drive assembly shop. Will be cross-trained in shipping, receiving, component management, inventory control and material requisition functions. Essential Job Functions Coordinates drive assembly functions, ensuring compliance with assembly procedures and best practices. Responsible for coordinating production in the assembly shop to meet project milestones and deadlines. Read and interpret production schedule and coordinate resources as necessary. Communicate with Project Management staff regarding deadlines and any project specific requirements. Communicate with suppliers on scheduling and addressing quality or delivery issues.
