CNA-2 Home Health - CPT, Days Pay Scale: $14.29 - $19.00 Shift: Casual Part Time, Days Position description: Under the direction of the HomeHealth/Hospice Coordinators, the Home Health Aide/CNA two provides personal careincluding basic hygiene, skin care, exercise, light meal preparation, and lighthousekeeping for the sick, disabled, or rehabilitated patients in theirhome. Assists RN in ensuring patient'scleanliness, safety, and comfort. Performs other nursing tasks as assigned and instructed by the RN incompliance with Oregon's Nurse Practice Act. Essential Duties: Provides personal care to patientsin their home; including bathing (bed, shower, or tub), oral care, grooming,skin care, and nail care. Protectspatient's privacy and self-respect. Promotes patient independence while ensuring safety; encouragescommunication. Reviews Home Health/Hospice Aid CarePlan, sets up appointments with patient/family for initial visit. Sets up patient on a weekly schedule forduration of Care Plan.
