Phlebotomist - (Schofield, WI)

Casual, PRN (10% pay increase for casual status) JOB # 2018.0049 Summary: Will perform various laboratory procedures in both clinic and hospital settings. Will work under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures to perform the manual and technical tasks involved with the proper collection, labeling, processing, and distribution of biological specimens for laboratory testing from patients of all ages. Will be responsible for utilizing relevant computer programs, performing data entry, and canceling and crediting tests. Must follow strict patient identification policies, including verification of specimen labels applied to patient samples. Will have continuous patient contact and is the laboratory's ambassador to our patients and must follow applicable organizational policies.Necessary background: High-school degree or its equivalent for Phlebotomist I. Min 1 year of full time background for Phlebotomist II.
