Metal Casting Quality Engineer - ISO 2015 Job - (Burlington, IA)

Seeking capable Quality Engineer to support internal and supplier audit programs, resolve customer quality complaints, lead training activities, perform corrective action, and ensure adherence to industry standards. Shall: *** Create and realize audit strategies to ensure acceptable adherence to quality qualifications and verify operations follow SOPs. *** Train personnel on new or established SOPs and quality manufacturing processes. *** Oversee inspection activities for cast and forged products, analyze reports and reconfigure manufacturing process to account for defects, potential defects, or inefficient production. *** Lead efforts to reduce scrap and rework costs. *** Continually update ISO9001 quality system and maintain certifications Must be familiar with ISO9001:2008 as well as ISO9001: 2015 and have background conducting supplier process and product audits in a manufacturing environment.
