Job DescriptionPosition Summary:Under the direction of a Supervisor or the Lead Recycling Operator, this position sorts, cleans, operates mobile equipment, operates other equipment, and performs such other work as is necessary to process recyclables through sorting, baling, crushing, and loading finished product.Salary commensurate upon experienceFunctions and Responsibilities: Sort and process recyclables. Operate Baler, conveyors, loaders, forklift, crusher, and other equipment as needed to receive, process, store, and load recyclables. Perform preventive and routine maintenance on recycling equipment. Keep operational logs on equipment as required. Keep area(s) & equipment clean as required. Knows and abides by all plant safety rules and regulations. Maintain a high standard of position responsibilities. Work under general supervision. Flexible with hours worked to perform unexpected clean up, plowing, and filling vacant positions.
