Other assignments include working closely with all hospital departments and external clients referring their lab work to this facility to ensure that testing is performed efficiently and accurately. The incumbent is required to assist with phlebotomy, clerical and specimen-processing duties as needed in an efficient and professional manner. This position has exposure to body fluids and communicable disease. On duty hours consist of time spent both sitting and standing. Up to 60% of this time can be spent standing and moving from station to station within the lab.
