Accounts Receivable Specialist - (MacHesney Park, IL)

Position overview As a Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will work in a pharmacy operation setting at our Patient Financial Service Centers, supporting the claims follow up, denial and appeals processes. You will work out of an aged trial balance queue processing denials, refunds and secondary billing efforts for both commercial and government payors. Must have good written and verbal customer service skills and advanced technical skills in order to interact with key stakeholders and patients. Challenge your newly acquired healthcare training or current reimbursement knowledge and customer services skills to make a difference in a patient's life by ensuring proper reimbursement efforts have been applied to patient accounts and working with payors to get any discrepancies resolved.
