Medical Records Coordinator - Veritas CollaborativeVeritas Collaborative, a specialty hospital system for the treatment of persons with eating disorders is seeking a full-time Medical Records Coordinator for the Durham, NC location. The Medical Records Coordinator (MRC) will ensure a complete, chronological, and accurate EHR that supports documentation integrity, continuity of care, and timeliness of documentation completion for every patient. The MRC will work collaboratively with the Performance Improvement Manager (PIM) to design, facilitate and maintain company compliance programs, including policies and procedures, training, quality assessments and risk management related to medical records to ensure consistent organizational achievement of high level compliance. The MRC will uphold all HIPAA regulations associated with medical records and assist in the development of policies and procedures and training related to the confidentiality, privacy and security of the medical record.
