Industrial Maintenance Supervisor - MaxamPrimary Functions: The Maintenance Supervisor facilitates maintenance activities with production and is accountable for managing the preventive scheduled maintenance. This position manages the unscheduled repair activities to ensure plant is continuously operating, prepares daily schedules for maintenance personnel and assures work requests have proper approval. Supervisory assignments include direct administration of the Maintenance Department. Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise & work planning of the maintenance personnelCreate & manage all work order activityParticipation in plant improvement programsMaintain control of departmental budget through monitoring of stores replenishment & repeat tasks.Establish a maintenance presence & awareness on the production linesTrack meantime between failures and efficiencies of equipmentEstablish improvement goalsEnsure departmental safety permits are properly completedProvide training to improve maintenance core skill
