Assistant Supervisor Shipping and Receiving* with Security Clearance - (Lexington, MA)

Our customer is looking for an Assistant Supervisor in Shipping and Receiving. This person will assist in overseeing all aspects of Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse operations. Direct the daily activities of eleven personnel and ensures compliance with all Laboratory policies and procedures. Work to resolve Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse related issues with Purchasing, Records, Financial Services, vendors, and customers. Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and security of the receiving dock and warehouse. Provide monthly performance metrics and other operational reports as necessary. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Receiving Oversees all incoming deliveries to the Laboratory, and ensures accurate documentation of goods receipts. Works closely with trucking companies to schedule pickups and deliveries. Responsible for import documentation necessary to process overseas purchases through the Laboratory\u0027s customs broker.
