R+L Global Logistics is seeking a Risk and Compliance Specialist. The Risk and Compliance Specialist will support the Compliance department with regulatory compliance, training, auditing and ensuring the company is in compliance with federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and company policies. They will also implement programs, policies, training initiatives and standard operating procedures Risk and Compliance Specialist Summary of Required responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: General understanding of government regulations, policies or regulations associated with a multi-modal transportation organization Protect the company from financial loss and occurrences that can impact the company's profit Be a point of contact and correspondence for field employees, regulatory agencies and any other parties involved in regulatory compliance
