We are looking for an enthusiastic person that can work in a fast-paced environment with great negotiation skills that wants to ms excel in the purchasing environment. The ideal candidate would be inquisitive, tenacious, perceptive, flexible, and detail orientated. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Able to select best source consistent with cost, quality and delivery qualifications for electronic components, mechanical components and electro-mechanical components. Negotiates price, delivery schedules, and places purchase orders in accordance with Company policies, procedures and government regulations. Coordinates with Sales to maintain inventory levels consistent with production qualifications and targeted inventory goals. Utilizes ERP and Queries to procure materials for manufacturing production inventory consistent with quality, delivery and cost expectations. Prepares reports for cross-functional team meetings. Provides problem resolutions for accounting and receiving discrepancies.
