Driver Manager - Grid-Line Transportation, Inc.Grid-Line Transportation, Inc. is in search of a flatbed and/or steel hauling dispatcher for our Operations department located in our main office in Schererville, Indiana. We are seeking an aggressive, results driven individual for this longterm opportunity. Duties include but not limited to:Manage and dispatch our flatbed truck-load drivers efficiently, both independently and with a team.Data entry; Entering orders and updating driver files.Accept and respond to customer correspondence quickly.Effectively communicate with and maintain the strong relationship with the company's drivers and customers.Scheduling and planning with customers and drivers.Find solutions for changes or problems in the day to day operations.Process multiple calls and e-mails regarding changes in the day to day operations.Occasionally answer phone calls outside of work hours.The perfect applicant is expected to possess the following:Background in the transportation or logistics
