Sr. Project Engineer-Industrial Automation - (Detroit, MI)

Our client, a leading global factory automation manufacturer, is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to support programming and conversion of Industrial Automation solutions and projects based activities in the Material Handling, Printing, Converting, Packaging and other General industries. This person is responsible for key activities related to Development, Conversion, Programming and Support. This role with report to the Software development Group - Engineering & Innovation. The tasks include, but are not limited to: Developing new solutions or converting existing projects that satisfy target markets qualifications Execute new or conversion engineering projects effectively and efficiently to meet project timing and budget qualifications Support customer projects on site when required Conducting technology transfer classes and workshops Working with 3rd Party Collaboration partners to enhance total solution capabilities (vision, sensing, motion, networking, software, etc.)
