Quality Engineer - (Waukesha, WI)

Job duties: Assure product and process quality by: overseeing the inspection and testing of finished product; successfully operate measuring equipment for a production shop; collection and processing of production data, (SPC); understanding process capabilities; interpreting drawings and establishing standards; Engage in, and provide leadership to quality technicians for the following: Incoming inspections Finished goods inspections Non-conforming product resolution Work with Supply Chain for supplier qualification and development: Assist in conducting audits of suppliers and qualification of supplier quality systems. Work with Supply Chain on supplier Corrective Actions, Returns and follow-up visits/inspections as necessary. Production Part Approval Process (PPAP): Assist with the completion of customer required PPAP documentation and, as needed, assist with obtaining PPAP documentation from suppliers. Maintain and improve the Gage Calibration system.
