Safety Officer - (Ferndale, WA)

Primary Job Functions: The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring that the MSNW Annual Safety Goals and Vision for Safety are implemented and trained throughout the organization. Participates in new hire orientation and periodic trainings to ensure education of teammates. Coordinates administrative functions of accident investigations and oversees stop work authority training and empowerment through the operations department. Job location: Ferndale, WA. Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day shift with flexibility Hours: 40+ hours a weekEssential Duties: Training and Onboarding * Participates in new hire orientation and periodic trainings to ensure education of teammates. * Coordinates spec sheets and safety paperwork compliance with Director of Operations. Documentation and Root Cause Analysis * Directs Incident Investigation Process. Prepares all accident reports, coordinates with field-based leaders to ensure effective accident investigation, root cause analysis.
