Quality Technician, Gigafactory - (Sparks, NV)

The Role The position will be based in Sparks, Nevada at Tesla's Gigafactory in the Quality department. The perfect candidate for this position will not only have strong issue solving abilities (Problem-Solving, soft skills), but also proven background running/utilizing a wide spectrum of tools and equipment ("hard skills") Responsibilities * Work together with manufacturing and suppliers to establish processes and procedures that will ensure consistently high-quality. * Maintain product quality plans and control plans. * Maintain quality performance metrics and drive issues to root cause solutions. Root Cause Analysis is HUGE * Work with Manufacturing Engineering to determine product specifications and tolerances. * Audit manufacturing line against released manufacturing processes and procedures. * Assist in the identification and resolution of manufacturing quality issues, contain parts or products as needed, sort parts for quality qualifications.
