Therapeutic Assistant I Pediatrics Part-time Evenings Sundaymonday - Veritas CollaborativeVeritas Collaborative is currently seeking a part- time second shift Therapeutic Assistant for the Child & Adolescent Hospital in Durham, NC.The Therapeutic Assistant I is responsible for providing support for patients and ensuring that a safe environment is maintained in the treatment facility. Therapeutic Assistants supervise and coach patients during meals, supervise and lead activities, transport and supervise patients on outings, and provide skills coaching when needed.The Therapeutic Assistant I will provide a positive environment for supportive, recovery-based treatment while maintaining appropriate, therapeutic boundaries with patients and families at all times. The Therapeutic Assistant I will consume all assigned meals (snacks, etc.) with patients and/or families to model normalized eating behavior, while on shift.
