Position description Arcadis is seeking an environmental consultant professional to join our Midland, Texas office as an Oil and Gas Permitting and Compliance Specialist. The perfect candidate will have strong leadership and project background to facilitate a close working relationship with our client base in the Permian Basin. Travel for this position is up 40%. Position duties include:* Serve as a technical resource in the Texas and New Mexico oil and gas market (Permian Basin and elsewhere) for both public and private land* Provide support for environmental planning, permitting, and compliance programs and projects with an emphasis on upstream and midstream oil and gas* Track emerging regulations and industry requirements to proactively future compliance and permitting trends and the potential* Prepare proposals, reports, applications, regulatory applicability interpretations
