Supervisor Jail Nursing Services - (Monticello, NY)

Sullivan County Jail Division is seeking to fill the following position: SUPERVISOR JAIL NURSING SERVICES The work involves responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating and supervising professional nursing services and related activities for inmates of the County Jail. Work is performed under general administrative direction of the facility administrator with wide leeway allowed for exercising independent judgment. Supervision and direction is exercised over all nursing services personnel assigned to the Jail. Min Requirements: (A) Possession of a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and 6 (6) years of background in professional nursing activities, 1 year of which shall have involved supervisory responsibilities And 1 (1) year of background in a Mental Health setting; or (B) Graduation from an approved 3 (3) year school of professional nursing and 7 (7) years of background, 1 year of which shall have involved supervisory responsibilities And 1 (1) year of background in a Mental Health setting; or
