Wireless Network Support Technician- Temp(Lincoln, NE) Responsible for the day-to-day support, operation and maintenance of wireless networking for UNL's wireless network. Provide assistance and support associated with other projects related to the campus network. Requirements: -- Associate's Degree; equivalency considered -- one year background in networking software and systems configuration; preferred -- Background with setup, configuration, and operation of Windows operating systems; required -- General knowledge and background with Ethernet networking concepts; required -- Good communication abilities, both oral and written; required -- Proven computer diagnostic skills; preferred -- General knowledge and background with wireless networking concepts; preferred -- Familiarity with various wireless technologies (802.11b, 802.11a, Bluetooth, etc.); preferred -- Background with MAC setup
