Crisis Care Professional (Part-time, As Needed) - (Greensboro, NC)

The individual filling this position will work on an "as needed," part time basis. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Encourages clients to plan, set/achieve personal goals and provide positive direction. Responds appropriately to each client according to the treatment plans. Establishes structure in the program that enables the client to learn responsibilities. Escorts clients to designated activities and provides ongoing client supervision. Maintains a safe environment including fire prevention, fire drills and evacuation plans. Plans events for clients, including informal play time, special events and group activities. Maintains any duties necessary to continue the upkeep of the facility. Performs housekeeping duties in clients living area. Restrains aggressive clients using approved techniques and procedures. Provides transportation for clients to events, including but not limited to school and medical appointments.
