Grant Accountant - (Mattapan, MA)

Partnering with Harbor's Grants Management Team, the Grant Accountant will support the budgeting, grant draw-downs/disbursements, cost tracking, and financial reporting of federal and non-federal grants. Key functions: Capture and track all grant receipts and expenses in the grant tracking module of Harbor's accounting system, including payroll distributions, supplies, fixed assets, cost sharing and encumbrances Work with Grants management team to ensure all expenditures are appropriate and in compliance with grant qualifications, regulations and contracts Monitor grant financial performance to ensure compliance with Harbor and grant sponsor policies and meet with Grants Management team to review resource plans and budgets.
