Lead School-Age Child Care Counselor (Wedgwood) - (Everett, WA)

Associated Recreation Council, the non-profit partner with Seattle Parks & Recreation, is recruiting for enthusiastic people who will help us deliver fun and creative programs for children ages 5-12. Our Lead School-Age Child Care Counselors work in the school-age child care programs, which provide a fun, creative, safe, and welcoming environment for children to learn, play, and grow. This position is for the After School program at Wedgwood Elementary School. Schedule: Monday " Friday 25 hours per week (approximate schedule is between 12:30pm-6:00pm) Summer Camp schedule (mid-June through early September) is Monday " Friday up to 40 hours per week Our Lead Counselors: Develop and lead programs and activities such as: arts and crafts, organized games, cultural activities, drama, music, story hour, sports, field trips, and other special projects and events Work with other staff to ensure the care and safety of participants at all times
