The housekeeper performs designated cleaning duties in assigned areas in the facility.1.-------------- Cleans areas of assignments according to established policies and procedures.-- This includes cleaning and disinfecting various surfaces such as furnishings, mattresses and bed frames, cabinets, light fixtures, vents, walls, window treatments, appliances, total restroom cleaning and restocking of supplies, and garbage removal.-- Includes providing linen exchange where and when applicable. Includes maintenance of carpet and hard surface floors.-- These activities are conducted in resident room and common areas.-- The housekeeper must perform these duties around the activities of the resident and these areas2.---------------- Reports supply and equipment needs, assists with monitoring conditions of equipment and the building environment by reporting visible safety hazards, and needed repairs or maintenance items by reporting to the appropriate personnel, such as Environmental Services
