THE POSITION: The Manufacturing Engineer performs a variety of Engineering, Maintenance and Safety activities. This position leads process development, improvement and manufacturing scale up projects. Improve processes, reduce scrap/waste, capital expenditure justifications, resolve design and process-related problems and recommend improvements. Provide project management support as needed. Identifies and executes initiatives to improve Safety, Cost, Productivity and Quality throughout the facility. Establishes manufacturing methods and practices and supporting documentation. Designs tooling and fixtures as needed. Strong expertise to analyze, design, refine and trouble shoot processes. Employ Statistical Process Control techniques for process improvement.
