Employer is currently seeking an Engineering Specialist - Controls.-- The successful applicant must have the following skills and background:--Troubleshoot machinery, robot, automation, and controls issues and downtimeUse FIS plant monitoring software to review cycle times of equipment, review and follow up project installationsReprogram equipment for engineering changes and improvementsUpdate program backups for machinery and automationWork with Corporate ME controls engineers to ensure new equipment will be launched effectively without issuesProgram new installations of automation, machinery, material handling, and robotsReview risk assessments as part of a team evaluating equipment safety to company standardsFundamental current understanding of PLC logic and controls Electrical background Related experienceSiemens and Modicon programming Familiarity with VFD, Servo
