Director - Communications - (Basking Ridge, NJ)

What you'll be doing... The Communications Director for the Consumer Group, will design and execute the communications plans that leverages earned, owned, and corporate social channels to advance Verizon Consumer Group's narrative and priorities in the marketplace, and lead public relations, influencer relations, corporate social channels and brand positioning. Role/Responsibilities:* Lead a talented team across specific regional geographies in the US responsible for the development and distribution of strategic PR communications and national/regional/local campaigns that influence and engage internal & external audiences important to brand reputation and "earned influence."* You will act as the primary PR business partner to our Consumer Sales Group.* You will generate excitement for product and services in regional and local geographies e.g. device launches, new services and promotions.
