Employer Staffing Services is searching for Inventory Control/ Purchasing Analysts! The client is located in Hanover, MD. Candidates will be required to interview in a short period of time. --Responsibilities: - Detailed spreadsheet analysis and data gathering - Preparing purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items - Evaluate inventory levels; develop plans for dealing with slow moving or overstocked items - Communicating with vendors, sales force, and management to resolve problems - Develop and maintain broad product knowledge--Qualifications: - five years related business background with a min of two years in the purchasing field - Strong proficiency in Ms excel is required!
