Sr. Chemist - Coating General Summary: Seeking a Sr. Chemist- Coatings. The applicant will be responsible for R&D projects covering Poly- Roof coatings products. The product line includes elastomeric 1 component moisture cure RTV coatings both with and without solvents. Coating chemistry includes but is not limited to Silicone and Acrylics. The position will collaborate closely with other R&D Chemists and Technicians to create a comprehensive product portfolio of products for the roofing industry. This position will be part of the Spray Polyurethane foam business located in Cartersville Georgia and report to the Technical Director. Key functions & Responsibilities: -New product development -Scope, design and execute product performance improvement projects -Hands-on formulation development for new and existing Silicone coating products -Tailoring products and formulations for unique customer specifications
