Horton Design Group, PLLC is a structural design firm in the Charlotte, NC area, currently seeking an experienced Structural Drafter to join our team as a full-time employee. The main responsibilities of the successful applicant include drafting plans and details for commercial buildings utilizing AutoCAD software, interacting with design engineers and contributing to overall drawing and presentation. Requirements: Min of three - ten years recent commercial building design background Master use of latest AutoCAD software Expertise to efficiently read and interpret both architectural and structural drawings quickly and accurately. Capacity to effectively work as part of a team and interact with others confidently. Able to work 40 hours per week. Revit background wanted but not required.
