Put your college or counseling background to work as a: Drug & Alcohol Counselor Teen Worker Overnight Counselor Day Hab/Vocational Worker Position assignments include but are not limited to: Counsel at-risk youth Provide youth support, mentoring, guidance and to demonstrate positive role modeling Assist youth in daily living, social skill development, activity planning, independent living skill development, and behavior management Provide a safe structured environment for youth Supervising youth in all activities and maintaining control of youth by giving directives and counseling Preparing youth for court appearances, and transports and escorts youth to medical, criminal justice, social services, and judicial facilities as needed according to departmental and facility policies and procedures.
