CHIEF OF POLICE CHIEF OF POLICE The Village of Metamora is seeking applications for the position of Chief of Police. The successful applicant must have a proven record of integrity and strong leadership, which includes management and people skills that demonstrate the expertise to work with Village Officials in a cooperative effort to oversee the Village's police department and to drive the police department forward. Candidates are preferred to have strong law enforcement experience and will answer and report to the Village President and Board of Trustees. Salary for the position is competitive and will be based on experience and requirements. The successful applicant must pass a physical exam, drug screening test and a thorough experience investigation will be conducted.
