Our client is seeking a manufacturing Sr. Buyer to join their talented Procurement team supporting their Defense Group.Purchasing positions require a forward thinking individual comfortable actively participating in all aspects of procurement as part of a dynamic team. Under the direction of the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Analyst will source and purchase hardware, software, equipment, and services to achieve the best value for the company and the end client.Performance Objectives:* Manage the procurement process including request for proposal activity, sourcing strategies/ commodity strategies, negotiations, Purchase Order awards and supplier performance.
