Sr Accountant Transportation 12/27/2018 01/17/2019 Position assignments Coordinates accounting processes, procedures and reporting or develops accounting schedules, analyzes account balances and analyzes and maintains accounting records in accordance with GAAP and company procedures. Completes the purchase accounting for M&A transactions and helps drive post-acquisition integration activities. This position plays an important role in determining the appropriate accounting treatment for transactions and the integration of accounting processes. Maintains the general ledger and prepares moderately complex financial statements and related reports/analyses and other accounting related duties for assigned functional areas or business segments. Under general direction, analyzes and reviews variances in financial results from budget and prior periods.
