Research Scientist II - (Rochester, NY)

The Research Scientist II will be tasked with clinical oversight of research staff related to specific testing and analysis in clinical vaccine trial testing as part of the Rochester General Research Institute. Attributes: MD or PhD who is not self supporting of their own salary nor has their own research program Functions independently as part of a research team led by a Senior Research Scientist or Laboratory Director Seeking independent grant support Functions with minimal direction from Sr. Research Scientist or Laboratory Director Strong analytical, computer, leadership and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: Proposes plans and conducts research projects including complex experiments, some in parallel, utilizing current concepts and recognized standard techniques, developing new protocols as necessary. Demonstrates advanced level of issue solving and troubleshooting.
