Senior Quality Engineer - (Culpeper, VA)

In this role, you will provide imaginative, thorough and practical solutions to a broad range of technical problems through the application of Quality Engineering disciplines and tools. Integrate Lean Manufacturing practices into Inspection processes (i.e. poka yoke, waste reduction, Build Quality In, etc.). Must be proactive and have demonstrated analytical abilities. Scope of support includes insuring Documentation Center Hardware Acceptance is executed to program milestones. This current opening may be filled at this level as posted or at 1 level higher. Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each) The successful individual will work under limited general direction and exercises considerable latitude in determining methods and approaches. 30% - Provides Quality Engineering direction to the factory operators and inspectors.
