Truck Driver - Huron, SD - (West Fargo, ND)

JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION: Truck Driver FLSA STATUS: Full time, Non-Exempt REPORTS TO: Regional Dispatch Manager SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver freight of all kinds to customers in a safe, professional and efficient manner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Load securement and assist in the loading and unloading of freight. Must have a valid drivers license Class A license when applicable and clean driving history. Overnight and weekend trips are occasionally required. Expertise to read and understand permit routes and qualifications. Maintain neat accurate records (Fuel, mileage, expense, logs, etc.…). Expertise to read and understand paperwork. Prompt and dependable attendance. Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALITIES Great communication expertise. Expertise to work unaided. Must be professional at all times. Must be a safe and defensive driver. Must have knowledge of load securement and DOT HOS as per FMCSR. Accept personal responsibility and account for his/her actions.
