Engineer II - Equipment & Furnishings - (Duluth, MN)

Job Summary: The Engineer II position in the Equipment and Furnishings group is responsible for the design, documentation, design support, and testing of interior furnishings and seat systems for general aviation aircraft. Works with engineers, engineering designers, industrial designers, internal departments, and vendors to develop aircraft interior products across all Cirrus models. Supervisory Responsibility: None Position requirements and Responsibilities (Required functions): Design details, assemblies, and installations of interiors, seating, and monuments using PTC Creo Generate and review new engineering and changes according to Cirrus processes and applicable regulations Coordinate with interior suppliers Provide engineering support to experimental and production build Perform peer review of the work of other engineers Author testing plans or other reports in support of engineering projects Conduct testing to show compliance with company and regulatory requirements Requirements: To perform this job
