Nursing Unit Team Leader- McDowell Emergency Department - (Marion, NC)

Overview and Requirements POSITION DESCRIPTION: Responsible for daily throughput for endoscopy unit, provides leadership to all staff and is liasion for sterile processing and all providers. Supervises assigned employees and oversees area daily operations, programs, and activities consistent under the direction of the Unit Manager and Director. Previous endoscopy procedural and perianesthesia background needed. CGRN or CPAN ceritifciation is perferred and expected to be obtained within first year of employment. REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Those new to the role must become actively enrolled within 6 mnths and complete within 3 yrs. Any exemptions from the Bachelor's degree requirement must be approved by CNO Advisory Board Council. PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED LICENSE: RN must have and maintain current licensure as Registered Nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing or Compact State as defined by NC Board of Nursing.
