Vice President, Sales & Customer Service - (Chicago, IL)
Provides a single point of contact and control for all internal and external matters relating to the sales, marketing and customer service activities for assigned markets. Provides guidance and direction to the business unit that use these resources to accomplish the business objectives. Directs Components sales and customer service team objectives and strategies in conjunction with business unit members. Contributes to the strategic planning process for the businesses (including appropriate operating plans), focusing on sales and marketing as they relate to achieving short and longterm business objectives. Owns the overall sales strategic planning process for the Components business. Sets targets of performance for all sales, marketing and customer service activities, including measures related to cost, quality, time and prospects. Reports on the progress of all sales and marketing activities to pre-set targets including capture plan development and internal sales operations.
