Coborn's Wants YOU Position title: Grocery Department Manager Department: Grocery Reports To: Store Director, Assistant Store Director Responsibilities PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to coordinate the Grocery department plans and management responsibilities to promote sales and achieve profit margins, in addition to providing a positive environment for our customers and associates. JOB DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Assists customers during their shopping background Greet, Offer, & Thank all customers Prompt response to customer concerns Expertise to perform duties of grocery and receiving clerks Recording and reporting customer requests Expertise to show customers where products are located Functional Requirement: Physical: walking, bending, kneeling, able to reach, lift, stack and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weighing up to 50 pounds., equipment operation (intercom, telephone, scanner, register, scale) Mental: judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization
