Buyer Location: Seneca Falls, NY Duration: six months Description: Manage and procure inventory levels required to meet shipment and operations objectives through manufacturing or purchasing procurement. Interface with Suppliers and Manufacturing personnel as required to meet/exceed Customer Service qualifications. Support Marketing lead time qualifications for Models. Manage Inventory Investment of up to $20 Mil Manage Material cost savings with spend of up to $80 Mil Improve on time delivery to customer per GDP Goal Improve supplier on time delivery per GDP Goal Demonstrates expertise to learn technical information Lean inventory management process. Demonstrated work background with MRP, Forecasting and Stocking Levels Requires initiative, creativity and assertiveness, coupled with strong interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills Strong product/parts knowledge and understanding of manufacturing, purchasing and planning processes.
