Grant Writer and Project Editor @stanford.edu - (Stanford, CA)

The Chu Human Pain and Opioid Physiology Lab of Stanford University, which was featured on an episode of Mythbusters ( http://painresearch.stanford.edu/mythbusters.html ) is currently seeking a student Grant Writer and Project Editor to join the Chu Lab clinical research team for pay. We are looking for a motivated, well-communicated Stanford student with strong writing and editing skills and excellent time management. Experience in science writing is preferred but not required; prior experience grant writing is preferred but not required. The applicant must work well as a member of a team. The Grant Writer and Project Editor will have the opportunity to manage the Department of Anesthesia Annual Report magazine, to manage grant writing and submission for the research conducted by the PI, and to participate in planning for the international conference Medicine X hosted at the Stanford School of Medicine. The position will require 20-30 hours per week.
