Product Quality Engineer - (Pinetops, NC)

ABB is seeking a Product Quality Engineer for its Pinetops, North Carolina location. This role is responsible to Measure and analyze quality performance data to solve problems and implement solutions to drive a manufacturing facility and its culture to always improving performance, throughput and productivity. 2019-01-26 Professionals ( > 2 yrs of work background) Tasks: Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Support product manufacturing lines for Medium Voltage Instrument Transformers, Cutouts, Switches and/or Flexitest switches. Support includes: Tracking 1st Pass Yield and driving improvement actions via cross-functional teams. Using ABB tools to respond to Customer Field issues and drive action back to operations and/or engineering. Conducting Operational Improvement projects to implement increased lean practices in the process as indicated by substandard performance metrics or opportunities to increase productivity.
