Housekeeping Technician - (Tolland, CT)

JOB DETAILS: Maintains the cleanliness of floors throughout the Woodlake at Tolland facility, including patios. # EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: A High-school certificate is desired but not required. Must pass a physical examination required by Employer and be able to successfully complete Employer#s Mandatory Education Program.# BACKGROUND: A min of 1 (1) year of related work background is required.# Knowledge of stripping and waxing floors preferred. COMPETENCIES: The employee must be able to speak and read English in order to communicate with staff throughout the facility as well as comprehend instructions and safety precautions relative to the cleaning agents, and other chemicals used during the normal course of floor care. Must be capable of exercising independent judgment and be able to make sound decisions relative to the timing of, and/or method of carrying out daily activities so as not to disrupt the comfort level of residents, visitors and employees.
