Software Developer - (Flushing, MI)

Primary Function The software developer develops specifications for moderately complex software applications and modifies/maintains the existing software. The role develops, modifies and maintains applications that may be customized or standardized. This position participates in design and coding activities with other staff members. Performance Responsibilities - Critical functions (Other duties may be assigned) 1. Create and maintain EDI systems to integrate with clients and vendors' 2. Create and maintain company web sites 3. Database analysis/design using MySQL and MS Access 4. Configure and maintain Unix/Linux Webservers 5. Mobile Device Management for Android tablets 6. Maintains and modifies existing applications without supervision as well as under direction from senior staff members. 7. Performs maintenance programming for existing version. 8. Performs custom programming at customer request. 9. Assumes responsibility for ongoing data architecture for product.
