Veterinary Technician - (Hampstead, NC)

Must be NC licensed or eligible. Modern, well equipped hospital in beautiful coastal community . Duties include animal care, anesthesia, surgical prep., surgical assistant, blood drawing , IV placement, laboratory work( CBC machine, chemistry machine, urinalysis, cytology (ie ear swabs), performing snap tests, submission of outside lab samples, etc) Avimark background is a plus. Perform laser treatments(training available) . Must be able to pick up 50# and restrain animals. A good work ethic, love of animals and excellent interpersonal skills is important.
