Veterinary Technician/Assistant - (Maryville, TN)

Veterinary background is REQUIRED. Position duties include: Assisting veterinarians with patient care, treatment and surgery Monitoring hospitalized pets Animal restraint and handling Performing routine in-house lab work, diagnostic procedures, radiographs, venipuncture, placing intravenous catheters and anesthesia monitoring Preparing and administering prescriptions and communicate discharge orders to clients Client education and communication To succeed with our office, employees must be energetic, attentive to detail, a team member, able to multi-task and willing to learn on the go.
