Buyer/Planner - Vista - (Vista, CA)

Job Purpose: This position is responsible for ensuring the availability of goods and collateral inventory. Key functions: Responsible for all aspects of the Supply Chain. Oversee vendor managed inventory reports, vendor communication of requirements, placing purchase orders for goods/components, managing vendor deliverables and confirming deliveries of finished goods. Responsible for accuracy of the item masters, bills of materials, vendor managed inventory & forecast reports and finished goods and component pricing. Support new product launches through on time/on quantity delivery of production requirements. Oversee general purchasing function; emphasis on procurement of raw material and component inventory. Work with outside vendors to obtain product or service details, such as price, availability and delivery schedule. Maintain computerized procurement records, such as items purchased, costs, delivery, product quality and performance and inventories.
